Rates and direct billing

Every fee below is what you would pay before insurance. We direct bill most extended health plans and ICBC, so in most cases you pay only the portion your plan doesn't cover.

Before you book

What you actually pay

Extended health. We direct bill Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield and Desjardins. You pay only the remainder your plan doesn't cover, at the end of the appointment.

ICBC. If you have an active claim, ICBC covers your treatment directly and we bill them. You pay only the small user fee shown against the relevant appointment, and nothing at all for acupuncture. You don't need to be at fault and you don't need a referral — just your claim number.

No referral needed for massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic or acupuncture in British Columbia. Some plans ask for one before they reimburse, so it's worth checking your own policy.

Questions about payment

Will you direct bill my insurance?

Yes, for most major extended health insurers including Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield and Desjardins. Bring your policy and member numbers to the first visit and we handle the claim at the end of each appointment. You pay only the portion your plan doesn't cover.

What does ICBC actually cost me?

Almost nothing. ICBC pays us directly for treatment under an active claim. There is a small user fee on massage appointments, $2.45 for the initial and $2.65 for a subsequent visit, and no user fee at all on acupuncture. Bring your claim number and we do the rest.

Why is an initial appointment the same price as a follow-up for physiotherapy?

Because the time is the same. A 45 minute initial and a 45 minute follow-up both cost $125. The initial simply spends more of that time on history and assessment. Where the length differs, so does the fee.

Do I pay for the naturopathic meet and greet?

No. The ten minute in-person meet and greet is free. It exists so you can ask whether naturopathic care suits your situation before booking a full consultation.

How do I pay?

At the end of your appointment, after any insurance has been billed. Card and debit are accepted at reception.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged at the full cost of the booking. Give the clinic notice by email, text or phone before your appointment and there's no charge.

Same-day and next-day appointments are usually available, seven days a week.
