Treat the source, not the symptom

arc therapy opened in Blundell Plaza in 2025 as a multidisciplinary floor built around one working principle: the disciplines share an assessment instead of running six separate practices under one lease.

Why we started this way

Pain rarely stays where it started

A shoulder that won't settle is often a neck and thoracic problem. A headache that won't lift is often a jaw problem. Treating only the part that hurts buys a few good days and then the same complaint comes back, because the source was never addressed.

So we built the floor around the source, not the symptom. Massage, physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, kinesiology and the rest work from one assessment and one set of notes, rather than referring you out to a different building and starting the story over.

Opened in 2025, the clinic now runs 19 practitioners across eight disciplines, all on the ground floor of Blundell Plaza.

In practice

What "shared assessment" actually means

It means your file doesn't reset every time you see a different practitioner. If your RMT finds a loading problem that needs graded exercise, they hand you to physiotherapy with the findings already written down. If your physiotherapist finds a jaw contribution to your headaches, the RMT who does intra-oral work is twenty feet away.

No separate check-in, no separate history form, no repeating yourself. One assessment travels with you across every discipline on the floor.

First impressions

Three things patients notice first

A calm, quiet corner of the arc therapy waiting area. First

The first visit starts wider than the complaint

Rather than going straight to the sore spot, the first appointment looks at how the whole body moves. That's usually where the actual cause shows up.

Practitioners already know your file

If you're handed across to another discipline, whoever sees you next has already read the notes. You're not re-explaining the injury from scratch.

Massage, physio, chiro and acupuncture all book and bill through the same desk, whether you're paying out of pocket, through extended health or an ICBC claim.

The space

A ground-floor clinic built for one visit to lead to the next

arc therapy sits on the ground floor of Blundell Plaza, two minutes off No. 2 Road, with more than 400 free parking stalls right at the door. There's no elevator to navigate and no second floor to find — you walk in from the lot straight into the clinic.

Inside, treatment rooms for every discipline open onto the same central floor, which is what makes the handoff between practitioners possible in the first place. We're open seven days a week, 9:00am to 5:00pm, serving Blundell, Broadmoor and Steveston.
