History and assessment
What happened, what makes it worse, what you need to get back to. Then a look at posture, range and the movements that reproduce the pain.

Nine RMTs in Blundell Plaza, each with a different clinical focus — so you're matched to the therapist who actually treats your problem, not just whoever is free.
What we treat
Every RMT session here opens the same way the physiotherapy and chiropractic sessions do: with a look at how you move. That's what decides where the hands go. Pain is often loudest a long way from its cause — a shoulder that won't settle is frequently a neck and thoracic problem, and treating only the shoulder buys you a few good days.
Your appointment
One practitioner, one room, the whole appointment. Rooms are never double-booked here.
What happened, what makes it worse, what you need to get back to. Then a look at posture, range and the movements that reproduce the pain.
Technique is chosen for the finding, not the booking name — myofascial release, trigger point, deep tissue, joint mobilisation or lymphatic work as the assessment indicates.
You leave with a short home plan that holds the change between visits. Not a printout of forty exercises you'll never open.
Book in three taps
Each of our nine RMTs lists what they actually treat most. Pick the one whose focus matches your problem and you land straight on their Jane booking page — no forms, no callback queue.
Not sure who to pick? Any of them can assess you and, if another discipline suits you better, move you across in-house to physiotherapy, chiropractic or acupuncture without starting over.
Appointments
Fees are shown before insurance. We direct bill most extended health plans, so you pay only the portion your plan doesn't cover. Under an active ICBC claim you pay a small user fee and nothing else.
| Appointment | Length | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Registered massage therapy | 60 min | $140.00 |
| Registered massage therapy | 45 min | $115.00 |
| Registered massage therapy | 30 min | $90.00 |
| Pregnancy massage | 60 min | $140.00 |
| Initial TMJ massage | 60 min | $145.00 |
| Hot stone massage | 60 min | $150.00 |
| Initial ICBC massage | 60 min | $2.45 user fee |
| Subsequent ICBC massage | 45 min | $2.65 user fee |
Shorter TMJ and hot stone appointments are also available. See the full fee schedule.
No. Registered Massage Therapy is direct-access in British Columbia, and that includes ICBC claims. Some extended health plans ask for a referral before they'll reimburse, so it's worth checking your own policy — but you don't need one to be seen here.
Yes, for most major extended health insurers including Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield and Desjardins. You pay only the portion your plan doesn't cover. For ICBC, bring your claim number and we bill ICBC directly.
Your therapist gives you a realistic number after the first assessment rather than an open-ended package. Most soft-tissue problems respond inside four to six sessions; longstanding patterns and post-accident recovery usually take longer, and you'll be told that up front.
No. Pressure is a tool, not a measure of quality. Irritated tissue often responds worse to heavy pressure, and your therapist will work at the depth the tissue tolerates. Tell them what you prefer — it's your session.
Whatever's comfortable. You undress only to the level you're comfortable with, and you're draped throughout. For appointments focused on the shoulder, hip or low back, loose shorts and a t-shirt are useful.
Same-day and next-day massage appointments are usually available seven days a week.
