Booking, insurance, ICBC and treatment — the questions we hear most from new and returning patients at Blundell Plaza.
Book online through Jane at alignrecoverconnect.janeapp.com, or call us at (604) 285-9922 and we'll book you in over the phone.
No. Every discipline on the floor is direct-access, including ICBC claims. Some extended health plans ask for a referral before they'll reimburse you, so it's worth checking your own policy, but you don't need one to be seen here.
We're open seven days a week, 9:00am to 5:00pm, including weekends and most holidays.
Usually, yes. With 19 practitioners across eight disciplines, same-day and next-day openings are common — Jane shows live availability, or call us and we'll find you the soonest slot.
Yes. Jane's booking flow lets you pick a specific practitioner by name and read what each one focuses on. If you're not sure who to pick, call us and we'll match you.
There are more than 400 free parking stalls right at the plaza, two minutes off No. 2 Road. The clinic is on the ground floor facing the lot, so there's no elevator to find — you walk straight in.
Use the manage-booking link in your Jane confirmation email, or call (604) 285-9922. Please give as much notice as you can — appointment slots book out quickly and early notice lets us offer yours to someone else.
Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield and Desjardins. ICBC is also direct billed once you provide a claim number.
It covers whatever portion your plan allows. You pay the difference, if any, at the time of your visit.
You pay in full at the visit and we provide a detailed receipt for you to submit to your insurer for reimbursement yourself.
It depends on your specific plan, not on us — treatment itself never requires a referral here. Check your policy wording if you're relying on extended health reimbursement.
Yes. Massage, physiotherapy, chiropractic and acupuncture are billed separately against whatever allowance your plan sets for each, and our front desk handles the split.
Billing happens at the front desk right after your appointment, whether that's a direct-billed claim, an insurance co-payment, or paying in full.
No. There's also no fault requirement — treatment is available regardless of who was responsible for the accident.
25 physiotherapy sessions, 25 chiropractic sessions and 12 massage therapy sessions, each pre-approved within the first 12 weeks after the accident.
Yes. Each discipline has its own pre-approved allotment within that 12-week window, so you can be seen across all three as your recovery calls for it.
Your ICBC claim number. We bill ICBC directly from that, so there's nothing further for you to submit.
Your practitioner can request additional visits from your adjuster with updated clinical notes if you still need care once the pre-approved sessions are used.
No, not for ICBC-related treatment — those sessions are billed directly to ICBC. Extended health only comes into play for care unrelated to the claim.
Yes, every first visit opens with a history and movement assessment, regardless of discipline. That's what decides the treatment plan, rather than treating on assumption.
Most patients do, since continuity helps track progress. If your case is better suited to a different discipline partway through, we can move you across the floor without starting your file over.
You don't have to know in advance. Book with whichever practitioner seems closest to your problem — if another discipline is a better fit, they'll tell you at the assessment and hand you across.
Yes, including intra-oral massage work and dedicated TMJ therapy for clenching, clicking and the headaches that often travel with them.
Whatever's comfortable. You undress only to the level you're comfortable with and you're draped throughout treatment. For shoulder, hip or low-back appointments, loose shorts and a t-shirt are useful.
Your practitioner gives you a realistic estimate after the first assessment rather than an open-ended package. Most soft-tissue problems respond within four to six sessions; longstanding or post-accident cases usually take longer, and you'll be told that up front.
Call the clinic directly and we'll walk you through it, or send us a general enquiry.
